By now, readers have seen the first issue of Around Acworth (formerly Acworth Community Magazine) and we hope you like what you’ve seen! We wanted to take a little time to introduce you to the new editor – who will be out and about in the community, covering all the latest news and touching base with local businesses! With that being said, we’d like to introduce you to Carla Caldwell, our new editor of Around Acworth. Carla is an award-winning reporter and editor who worked for many years at The Birmingham News, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, and most recently produced the Morning Edition feature for Atlanta Business Chronicle. She enjoys meeting people in the community and telling their stories. Like the rest of the ALM family, she is an animal lover; she and her family live on a small farm with horses, three cats and sweet pup.
