Save Acworth History Foundation Speakers Series: Ernie Henshaw

7 p.m. Roberts Community and Education Center, 4861 School St., Acworth. “The Apollo Program From the Inside.” Ernie Henshaw is an aerospace engineer who has worked on everything from Atlas and Titan ballistic missiles with nuclear warheads to Space Shuttle payload and computer-aided design of the International Space Station. In between, he worked on the launch of Apollo 11 for Boeing and NASA. He will tell you what went on behind the tragedies and the triumphs of putting man on the moon.
