Covering the Bases

Sponsored by Acworth Police Department to raise awareness about Horizon Field and money to maintain it. The field is used for programs that allow children and adults with physical and cognitive disabilities to play organized sports. Acworth Sports Complex, 4000 S. Main St., Acworth. The family-friendly event begins at 6 p.m. and ends with a midnight kickball game.
