Art House Exhibit and Classes

February 2, 2018

Small Works Art House Exhibit Around Acworth
Art House held its first exhibit, “Small Works,” in January.

A new exhibit opens in February at Art House, the city’s new center for art exhibition and education for adults and children.

The center, which is located at 4425 Cherokee St., opened in December. It is home to nonprofit Acworth Arts Alliance. The organization is committed to growing the arts in the greater Acworth community.

The exhibit, “For the Love of Art,” is open Feb. 3 through March 24. The collection includes two- and three-dimensional art. Artists were asked to submit work that shows what “the love of art” means to them, said Cathy Green, executive director, Acworth Arts Alliance.

A grand opening and artist reception is set for 6 to 9 p.m. Feb. 3. A second reception will be held 6 to 9 p.m. March 3. Both events are free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
